About me and Actually Dolly

Actually Dolly has been created at the start of a new year with a new attitude. Although I love "The Lipstick Blog" with all my heart, I can't help but feel I have pigeon holed that blog a little and sometimes we all need somewhere to let off a little steam and talk about whatever we desire.
You join me in the third month of my new business. I opened a shop in my town on the 29th of October and although sometimes I will write about it, I am not here to sell my products and don't intend to use the blog as a promotional tool.
One of my first blogs was a dating blog and although it was hugely popular, it was impossible to continue once in a relationship. However one thing has come out of the relationship that I definitely feel I can blog about and that is the alien concept of growing up. I have a long way to go.
With a makeup collection larger than the average person and an entire cupboard devoted to bath products I fully intend on mentioning beauty bits regularly.
2014 is also bringing new challenges for me. I have decided enough is enough and  I will be seriously taking on the challenge of losing weight. For me, it isn't all about dropping dress sizes, I want to become healthier and in turn feel healthier. I suffer from IBS and I also want to try and learn to control that better rather than eating whatever I want and suffering the consequences later.
To go along with my weight loss mission I will also be going back to ballet on a regular basis. I stopped going to ballet religiously around 4 years ago and it has made a huge difference to my health, weight and strength. I intend on taking two classes a week but I realise we are all human and this may not always be possible. I am also hoping to take part in my dance schools bi-annual theater show and am considering auditioning for a main part.
I have recently had a flare up of a couple of my "Chronic Illnesses" so I will be talking about those, the stigma behind them and how I cope with my relapses.

I am really excited about my new little corner of the internet and I hope you are too. As usual please feel free to leave any comments and suggestions and I hope you decide to follow me on my journey.
